A-list celebrity teams up with Kilkenny animation company

A local animation company are set to join forces with one of Hollywood’s leading ladies!

‘The Breadwinner’ is the latest feature-film in the works at Kilkenny’s Cartoon Saloon and it’s been revealed that Angelina Jolie will serve as one of the executive producers.

The film is based on a novel by the same name about a young girl living under the Taliban regime in Afghanistan.

This story is said to be quite close to Jolie’s heart as she funds a girls’ school in Afghanistan.

It remains to be seen now whether the A-list star will be calling to the local studios in Kilkenny.
