Mullins collects National Hunt prize at Horse Racing Ireland Awards

Willie Mullins was one of the big winners at the annual Horse Racing Ireland Awards in Leopardstown yesterday.

The local trainer won the National Hunt award for another hugely successful season with a record-breaking eight winners at the Cheltenham Festival, ten Grade 1 wins at the Punchestown Festival and 30 successes worldwide at the highest level.

One of Mullins many stable stars Faugheen took the Horse of the Year award jointly with Gordon Elliots Don Cossack.
