Health Minister praises St Lukes staff

Minister Leo Varadkar has praised the staff at St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny.

The Health Minister visited the acute hospital for Carlow/Kilkenny yesterday to visit the new emergency department which is due to open in March.

He was in the locality launching John Paul Phelan’s general election campaign.

Speaking to KCLR about the high trolley figures recorded in St Luke’s last Tuesday, Minister Varadkar says it is one of the better hospitals in the country.
