Carlow will be a ‘float-free zone’ this St Patricks Day

The Carlow St Patricks Day Parade will be a float-free affair this year.

The annual event is at the planning stage at the moment but there is a public meeting next week to discuss ideas.

However one big change has already been decided

Parade organiser Bríde de Róiste told KCLR news that this year’s parade won’t feature any floats or vehicles at all.
