An Taisce wants election candidates to put climate change on their agenda

The chair of a local environmental group says the “crisis of our time” is not being talked about enough.

Declan Murphy is chair of An Taisce in Kilkenny – a charity that works to preserve and protect Ireland’s natural and built heritage.

To coincide with the upcoming election they are hosting a public meeting about climate change tomorrow evening in the Newpark Hotel.

Declan Murphy told KCLR News it’s something that’s being largely ignored by our politicians.
