Kilkenny TD says too many children being caught up in homelessness crisis

Children are being caught up in the homelessness crisis in a “really negative way”.

So says local Sinn Féin TD Kathleen Funchion who says there are too many families with small children being left in Hotels and emergency accommodation.

The newly elected deputy for Carlow/Kilkenny brought the issue up in the Dail on Friday afternoon.

Speaking to KCLR news, Deputy Funchion says it’s a disgrace that this is still a problem in 2016.
