Calls are being made for a second bridge to be put in place in Tullow.
The issue was raised at this months meeting of Carlow County Council – due to traffic congestion in the area.

As it stands there is only one bridge crossing the river in Tullow, and there is traffic management problems at the end of Thomas Traynor Street.
Speaking to KCLR about these plans, Councillor John Pender says the current situation causes havoc at times.
