“A bit chuffed really” says Carlow businessman and community supporter who will be honoured today

A Carlow businessman and community supporter is set to be honoured today.

Seán Swan is well known for his electrical outlet but more so for the help he’s given so many people, groups and enterprises over the years.

You’ll often hear his voice on ads for his own shop on KCLR always full of warmth and feeling.

One group he’s sponsored for 33 years is Éire Og football club and this afternoon Croke Park will mark that by presenting him with a prize at halftime in the Leinster Club Senior Football Championships.
