A number of farms have been targated in Kilkenny over the last few days

Gardaí are investigating the possibility that a spate of thefts from farms may be linked.

Thiefs have targeted buildings in Castlewarren, Gowran, Kells, Dunnamaggin and Jenkinstown between 7pm and 7am on differnt dates recently.

Sgt Eddie Brennan spoke to KCLR News’ Martin Quilty about them and how farmers can prevent any repeats.
