A Status Yellow wind warning has been issued in Carlow and Kilkenny for Wednesday and Thursday.
It will be in place – as of now – for Leinster, Munster, and the North, with the potential for more alerts to be issued in the coming days.

A similar rain warning has also been issued for parts of Munster and Leinster.
A weather system due to hit Ireland on Wednesday could be called Storm Agnes.
