The man who was killed in Thursday’s road crash near Castlecomer has been named locally as David Boland.
The 30-year-old Dad was killed when his motorbike and a lorry collided on the main Kilkenny road outside Castlecomer at around 11am.

His body was removed from the scene for a post mortem examination
Mr Boland, who was from the Castlecomer area, had been working as a maintenance technician with Glanbia.
