The All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship will crown a new champion this year after a dramatic weekend of provincial action.
Reigning champions Tipperary were knocked out of the championship following Limerick’s 2-29 to 2-20 victory over Waterford yesterday.
That result, combined with Clare’s 11-point win over Tipperary on Saturday, means Cork, Clare and Limerick will progress from the Munster championship.
In Leinster, Dublin strengthened their hopes of reaching the provincial final with a 3-16 to 21-point win away to Galway.
Offaly also kept their qualification hopes alive after a six-point win over Wexford.
Meanwhile, Kildare have been relegated after their defeat to Kilkenny.
And don’t forget, there’s plenty of reaction from the weekend’s Leinster and Munster Championship games — along with all the fallout from the Joe McDonagh Cup — available now on the KCLR Hurling Podcast post-match edition.
