Angelina Jolie had a ‘hands-on’ role working with Kilkenny animators

The director of Cartoon Saloon’s upcoming feature film says Angelina Jolie has been very involved and hands-on.

The Hollywood actress and activist came on board as an Executive Producer on the local animation company’s latest film, The Breadwinner, which is due for release later this year.

The film follows the story of a young girl living under the Taliban regime in Afghanistan.

Nora Twomey, the film’s director, told KCLR that from the very beginning Angelina Jolie has been heavily involved from the very start.
