Gardai in Kilkenny are investigating after animals were stolen from a pet farm on the outskirts of the city.
Rabbits, guineafowl, parakeets and lovebirds were among the animals taken from the farm at the Newpark Hotel in the early hours of last Saturday morning.

It happened sometime between 2.50 and 3.45am and Gardai believe at least 4 men were involved and entered the premises via the grounds of Kilkenny College causing criminal damage too.
