Ann Phelan says more money needs to be invested into our schools

Minister Ann Phelan says more money needs to be invested into schools across the country.

It comes after the announcement that Paulstown National School and Borris Vocational School are both getting new classrooms and an ASD unit for Borris.

The local Labour TD says it’s a priority for this government to expand all our schools to accommodate for an estimated 70 thousand additional students by 2018.

And speaking to KCLR news, Minister Phelan says they’ve already taken a step in the right direction.
