A Kilkenny man is to take over at the helm of the Vintners Federation of Ireland next year.
Publican Pat Crotty has been announced as the incoming President and will take office in May next year from Tipperarys Noreen O Sullivan.
Kilkenny has been well represented in the organisation with Gerry Rafter a former president.
Mr Crotty says one of his priorities in office is to make the pub relevant to young adults again.
