Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road crash in Wexford yesterday.
A man in his 70s lost his life when the car he was driving was involved in a four-vehicle collision on the N25 at Orristown, just after 5pm.
The man’s body was taken to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem examination, and thankfully, no other injuries were reported from the incident.
The main road between Wexford and Rosslare remains partially closed this morning as Gardaí carry out a detailed examination of the scene.
Road users who may have camera footage of the incident are urged to contact Gardaí.
So far this year 19 people have lost their lives on Irish roads.
