Car thief on the run in Kilkenny as Gardaí appeal for information about stolen Silver Hilux pickup

A car thief is thought to be on the run in Kilkenny and local Gardai are looking for your help.

A pickup truck was stolen this afternoon in the Killenaule area, just over the Tipperary border on Tuesday.

It happened about 3.30pm but it’s thought the Silver Toyota Hilux, with a partial reg plate of ’09 TS’, was seen in the Callan Area at about 4.15pm.

A major Garda operation is underway with several local units dispatched to try and track down the thieves.

Gardai are asking anyone who sees the truck to contact them.
