Arrests of five motorists in south Kilkenny road safety campaign shows warnings are not being heeded by all

Five people arrested during a road safety campaign on the Kilkenny/Waterford border shows some motorists continue to ignore warnings.

About 40 Gardaí & trainees carried out the initiative yesterday at a number of points, including Slieverue and Newrath, with a bid to educate those behind the wheel and to give practical experience to the newly commissioned Guards.
