Gardaí are seeking help in locating a man for an attempted armed robbery yesterday
At approx 12.30 p.m. the Daybreak, on Athy Road, Carlow, was the victim of a theft.
Upon entering the store, a hooded man with a stocky build and six-foot in height approached the counter, placing a piece of paper on it and demanded money. At no point did the male speak.
He Produced a knife, the tills were not open and male left the store empty handed on an e-scooter through St Dympnas Hospital and then past Carlow Train Station.
