More award nominations for film documenting work of Kilkenny taxi drivers

The nominations just keep rolling in for a documentary about a group of Kilkenny taxi drivers!

‘Throwline’ which tells the story of those involved with the taxi watch initiative locally, has now been nominated for Best Short Documentary at the Oslo Film Festival, and for Best Cinematography at Oregan Documentary Film Festival.

Already this year the film has picked up a number of awards, including at festivals in Galway and Wexford.

Meanwhile ‘Throwline’ is now bound for Britain as it’s to be included in the line-up for this year’s Irish Film Festival in London next month.
