The death has taken place of Joan Kennedy (née Claxton),
27 Avondale Drive, Hanover, Carlow and formerly of Fonthill Co Carlow.
She died on Saturday peacefully in St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Reposing at Carpenters Funeral Home Shamrock Sq., Carlow on Monday from 4pm, concluding with prayers at 8.30pm; after which, Joan will be removed to her residence in Hanover. Reposing at her residence on Tuesday from 3pm until 7pm.
Removal from her residence on Wednesday morning at 9.30am, to the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am.
Followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Ballinabranna.
