Weekend weather sees annual Kilkenny event cancelled

The weekend’s about to kick in and it’s not looking great weather-wise. 

While much of the GAA action’s off the cards and many have headed off to County Laois for the Electric Picnic, as always there are lots of events planned locally for Saturday and Sunday.

Unfortunately, after yesterday’s downpour and with more rain set to fall, organising committees across Carlow and Kilkenny are pondering over their plans.
