A busy Kilkenny city route is set to close for daytime hours this week.
From tomorrow (Tuesday) to Friday, Parnell Street will be shut off to traffic between 7am and 5pm each day.

The stretch runs between the junctions with Friary Street/Walkin Street/Lower New Street and James Street.
Access to Mary’s car park will be available however via James’ Street.
