Calls on the government to continue services for those affected by congenital heart disease

A Carlow mother is calling on the government to continue services for children and adults affected by congenital heart disease.
Trish Purcell from Tinryland has a 10 year old daughter Catriona who has already had multiple surgeries and will need life long medical support.
One of the charities, Heart Children Ireland funds a specialised psychology service for families as well as equipment for hospitals.
However, speaking to KCLR news, Trish says the government aren’t helping them at all and that there’s money being invested by them.
