Candidate vows to be a voice for South East in Europe

Malcolm Byrne says he’ll be a voice for the forgotten region of the South East if he’s elected to the European parliament.

The Fianna Fail candidate from Wexford got his campaign underway in Carlow this weekend and is planning to start canvassing in Kilkenny over the next week.

There’s no sitting MEP from this region representing Ireland South at the moment and Mr Byrne’s told KCLR that we need a local representative in Brussels.

Mr Byrne says he’ll be a champion for the South East if he’s returned on 24th of May.
