A man has been arrested following a cannabis seizure in Carlow.

Gardai have seized cannabis plants worth €120, 000 euro after a search of bungalow in the Fairways area of Carlow town this morning.
The discovery was made at approximately 2.15 am and Gardai believe the plants were mature and ready to be harvested for street sale with cultivation equipment also found in the house.
A man in his late 20’s was arrested at the scene and he is being detained at Carlow Garda Station under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking ) Act where he can be held for up to 7 days.
