Carlow and Kilkenny council representatives are New York bound tomorrow
Minister John Paul Phelan is already in Singapore for St Patricks Day celebrations.

As Carlow and Kilkenny’s council representatives prepare to head off to New York, our local Junior Minister has already embarked on his ministerial visit for St Patrick’s Day.
John Paul Phelan is now in Singapore where he’s representing the government at this year’s celebrations.
Tomorrow is when Carlow County Council’s Cathaoirleach and Kilkenny’s leas-chathaoirleach will be heading state-side.
Meanwhile, the United States’ House of Representatives Speaker, Paul Ryan has been tweeting about his own Kilkenny heritage ahead of the annual Friends of Ireland Luncheon this Thursday.
His family hail from Graiguenamanagh.
The Taoiseach and President Donald Trump will both be attending the event hosted by Speaker Ryan.
