Carlow and Kilkenny nursing homes to benefit from new funding supports

Private and voluntary nursing homes in Carlow and Kilkenny are set to benefit from a new funding scheme aimed at improving facilities.

The scheme provides €10 million in funding, with each eligible facility able to apply for up to €25,000 for necessary works.

Junior Minister Jennifer Murnane O’Connor told KCLR News that “the funding will help nursing homes enhance their premises to better meet the needs of residents.”
