Carlow Coco take charge of Ballyknockan Manor in Leighlinbridge

A housing estate in Carlow which was never finished by the developer has now been taken over by the County Council.
Ballyknockan Manor in Leighlinbridge now comes under the wing of the local authority after concerns were raised by residents living in the un-finished estate for the last number of years.
A number of elements of the estate were never finished by the developer, including man-hole covers, footpaths and garden areas.
Speaking to KCLR following the decision to take over the estate, Leighlinbridge based Councillor, Michael Doran says it’s a positive move.
