Carlow Councillor says banks refusing to co-operate with council over purchase of houses in Palatine

Co-operation from the banks is what’s needed now.

So says Carlow Councillor Fergal Browne who is calling for them to engage with the local authority over the purchase of four houses at Lime Grove estate in Palatine that are currently in the hands of a receiver.

He says despite the best efforts of the council nothing is happening with them.

Councillor Browne says he’s hoping to raise the matter with the Finance Minister, Paschal Donohoe, soon.
