If you’re bidding to transform a derelict or vacant home locally, Carlow County Council’s offering to help.
The local authority’s hosting a number of drop-in information sessions the first of which is at the Town Hall this evening from 5pm with two more to follow in Bagenalstown and Tullow.
Vacant Homes Officer Brigid Deenihan told KCLR News the gatherings are to; “Make people aware of the schemes and grants that are available to help them, to support them to bring vacant or derelict properties back into use”.
She adds; “I’ll be there myself, the Town and Regeneration Officer Nicola Lawler will be there, my assistant staff officer Carol Flynn, the Housing Department will be there and also the Department are sending down two members from the housing agency to assist us as well”.
