Carlow fire service at scene of three grass fires

Carlow Fire Brigade’s been called to three grass fires at a town estate.

Since about 2:30pm this afternoon smoke has been seen rising from the John Sweeney Park area of the Tullow Road and it’s been confirmed that one unit of the local service is attending.

There are no reports of any injuries or major damage.

But anybody who may have information is asked to contact gardaí.
