New road in Carlow to bring traffic relief

Bad traffic around Graiguecullen could be hugely reduced from today.
This is the hope following the opening of the Northern Relief Road Extension which has a single carriageway cross-section, and which stretches out in the direction of Carlow Town.
Work has been ongoing there since September 2015 and involved the construction of approximately 760 meters of road.
Speaking to KCLR News this morning, local Councillor John Cassin says this will bring relief to what’s been a very busy area.
