Carlow Junior Camogie side book their place in All Ireland final

Carlow have an All Ireland Junior Camogie final to look forward to later this month.

The ladies beat Clare at the weekend, though they didn’t have it all their own way in the first half especially.

Clare had a good lead at half time in Birr 1-7 to 3 points but the Carlow girls battled back to win out by 16 points to 1-9 in the finish.

They will face Kerry in the decider on Sunday August 23rd as they bid to collect their third trophy for the season having already won Division 3 of the League and the Leinster Junior title.
