Carlow and Kilkenny leaving certificate students are being urged to consider a computer science and ICT courses.
The call comes from the Higher Education Authority ahead of the CAO change of mind deadline on Friday, 1st July.

The authority are urging local students to consider this career path – as studies have found that graduates in this area report high levels of employment and pay.
Ireland are facing an average increase in demand for high level ICT skills of around 5 per cent a year to 2018.
The change of mind facility allows Carlow and Kilkenny leaving certificate students remove or re-order their courses until July 1st.
