Carlow/Kilkenny TD is calling all teens to checktheregister.ie today to secure your say

A new initiative allows those aged 16 and 17 to pre-register to vote.

It means they’ll automatically be added to the register when they turn 18.

Jennifer Murnane O’Connor visited one local school where within a day a considerable number signed up; 240 students registered that day from age 16 to 18.  At least now you can register at 16 or 17 and when you turn 18 you can automatically vote. I would urge any teen to go to checktheregister.ie today and secure your say.
