A Carlow girl who suffers from a rare form of cancer is to get an early birthday present.
17-year-old Shantelle Tynan was one of may people caught up in the collapse of the Low Cost Holidays company.
Her family had their accommodation cancelled for an upcoming holiday to Santa Ponsa and didn’t have the funds to book it again.
Shantelle turns 18 years old tomorrow.
However her mum Leona Tynan says people have donated money to them to cover the costs of the accommodation.
