A woman and her young son will return to the Carlow county council offices this morning in a bid to secure a home for them.
Gardai were called out again last night as she staged a sit-in at the local authority building.
Last week KCLR reported how Karen had declared herself homeless to the council and had to be removed by Gardaí when she was told they had no immediate solution.
She and her 6-year-old son were then put up in emergency accommodation but its understood the council have said they can no longer afford to keep her there.
Karen and a small number of supporters refused to leave the council offices when they were closing yesterday evening.
Eventually accommodation was arranged for last night and Karen is set to return to meet with council officials this morning(10am)
Speaking to KCLR news yesterday evening Karen said moving in with family is not an option for them.
