A Carlow woman living in the United States says for many the most worrying thing about President Trump’s stance on immigration is not knowing what’s coming next.
Over the weekend Donald Trump issued an executive order putting a 90-day visa suspension in place for those travelling from seven, mostly Muslim countries, which also affects those with dual-citizenship.
Ann Dermody, originally from Fennis Court in Carlow first spoke to KCLR back in 2015 after she got her US citizenship and was name-checked by President Obama in a speech about immigration.
Speaking to KCLR on The Way It Is, Ann said “People are worried. They don’t really know what’s next”.
