Thousands of displaced Palestinians are returning home to northern Gaza, for the first time in more than a year.
A key crossing for people on foot has reopened this morning, with citizens seen carrying belongings, including mattresses and blankets.
Israel delayed allowing them access, until Hamas released a civilian hostage.
Arbel Yehoud is now due to be freed on Thursday.
It comes after Donald Trump suggested there should be “a clean out” of Gaza, and Egypt and Jordan should take in more Palestinians.
