Castecomer Fire Services are dealing with a major oil spill this afternoon.

Castlecomer Municipal District are dealing with a major oil spillage along the N78 between going through Castlecomer Town and out the Athy road.

Because of the extent of the spill, it will take Fire and Rescue and Council staff some time to treat it, road users are urged to take extreme caution on this route especially in the bad weather which will make the road very slippery.
