Cat laughs draws to a close in Kilkenny this evening for another year

The annual cat laughs festival draws to a close in Kilkenny this evening.

It’s estimated that around 30 thousand visitors attended the festival, which has been running since Thursday.

The likes of Karl Spain, Neil Delamare and PJ Gallagher were just some of the names who took part this year.

There’s a new event taking place this year – ‘Cat Laughs goes to the races’ at Gowran Park.

There’s a full 7 race card on offer in Gowran, with Hector and Al Porter among the people who’ll be there.

Speaking to KCLR, General Manager of Gowran Park, Eddie Scally says it took some work to get a race day put on this afternoon.
