Cllr wants Trump to visit Kilkenny

A Kilkenny councillor says he’d love to extend an invitation to Donald Trump to come to Kilkenny when he visits Ireland.

Joe Malone says Kilkenny has the best golf course in Ireland at Mount Juliet as far as he’s concerned and that the county would be proud to welcome the US President.

President Trump accepted an invitation to visit these shores during Taoiseach Leo Varadkar’s St Patrick’s Day stay in the US.

Councillor Malone told KCLR Kilkenny should be included in his itinerary.
