Concerns over local Psychiatric services expressed by PNA

Huge concerns are being expressed about the current situation in our Psychiatric services.

The Psychiatric Nurses association say that the unit in Kilkenny is operating at maximum capacity with the 44 beds full and 10 patients being cared for in the community.

Meanwhile in South Tipperary a consultant on leave for a month is not being fully covered which in turn is impacting on services locally.
