Contract for new Education Hub in Carlow has been officially signed

The contract for building works to start on Carlow’s new education hub have officially been signed today.

It was revealed late last year that Tyndall college, as it will be known, will consist of a post primary vocational school, as well as Carlow Institute of Further Education & Training.

Education Minister, Richard Bruton, today announced the contracts have now been signed for building works to begin on five new schools around the country.

The others will be situated in Wicklow, Meath and Wexford and are being built as a public private partnership to be managed by private companies.
