Coucillor Deirdre Cullen outraged by omission of Kilkenny school on funding list

We’re at capacity – we are turning away students.

So says the Board of Management Chairperson at Kilkenny City Vocational School after they were overlooked for the funding necessary for their new building this week.

Councillor Deirdre Cullen says they were given a letter of intent last January to move forward with the plans that would see themselves and Colaiste Pobal Osraí move out of the city centre to a greenfield site in the Western Environs – a move that has been in the works for several years now.
