Councillor Fintan Phelan calls on Irish Rail to fix parking issue at Carlow town train station

Irish Rail is being urged to find a solution to parking issues at Carlow town train station.

The topic was raised at the county council’s monthly meeting by Cllr Fintan Phelan who had unanimous support in his plea for officials to engage with the Irnroid Eireann team.

The facility’s at capacity before the 7:56am train rolls in, and Cllr Phelan says many can’t park up to avail of the services.
