County Enterprise Boards are no more from today as Local Enterprise Offices are officially established

Carlow and Kilkenny county enterprise boards officially became Local Enterprise Offices today.

Minister Phil Hogan, Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore launched the nationwide system of 31 offices earlier that will be one-stop shops for local small businesses around the country.

The former county enterprise boards have effectively been amalgamated with the local authorities.
