Crocodiles rescue dog from drowning in India

Three crocodiles have come to the rescue of dog which was drowning after falling into a river in India…

Instead of treating the puppy as an unexpected snack…. the crocodiles instead worked together to push him ashore.

The amazing story is being reported as ‘a possible display of emotional empathy’.

The crocodile’s kindness is ‘uncharacteristic’ of the species, which would normally attack any intruder in their waters.
